The same vault on every machine
Write on the laptop, pick it up on the desktop — through storage you already own and chose: your Dropbox, your OneDrive, a network share, a USB stick. What lands there is encrypted, with scrambled file names and no folder structure, and there is no copy on our servers because our servers are not in the path at all.
Turn chosen notes into a page others can open
Publish a selection of your vault as a site. Either write it to a folder and host it yourself, or let us host it — in which case the pages you chose are uploaded to our server, which is the one place your note content sits on our infrastructure. Every page carries its provenance and its own verifier, so a reader checks the signature in their browser without having to trust whoever is serving it.
Reach further back
Free keeps the last week within easy reach. Paying opens the older versions, so you can go back to how something read before you changed your mind. Nothing is deleted either way — the older versions are on your disk the whole time.

What happens if I stop paying?
You drop to the Free plan. The app keeps opening, reading, writing, searching and answering, and your notes are untouched — they were never anywhere but your disk. The paid features stop; nothing you wrote does.
How does Team billing work?
Team is priced per seat: you pay for the number of people who hold a place in the shared vault. Add or remove someone from your account and the seat count follows.
Where do I actually buy it?
Not here. This site has no checkout — payment happens in the customer portal, which is also where the terms you are agreeing to are presented in line before you pay.
