Cookies on altretta.com

Last updated

This notice covers altretta.com and nothing else. It is deliberately short, because this site does very little.

Why you are being asked again

If you already answered a cookie banner on apilium.com, that answer does not apply here. A consent decision is stored by the browser against the origin that asked for it, and altretta.com is a different origin — so your apilium.com decision is not readable here and would not be valid here even if it were. Two banners is the legally correct outcome, not a bug, and this paragraph exists so it does not get reported as one.

What is stored without asking

One entry in this site's local storage, recording the choice you make below and the revision of this notice you made it against. It is not a cookie, it is never sent to a server, and it is what stops the banner asking again on every page. If this notice is revised, the recorded revision no longer matches and you are asked again — consent to an older notice is not consent to a newer one.

What is only stored if you say yes

Google Analytics, to count visits and see which pages people read. The tag is present in the page as an inert script the browser does not execute and does not even fetch, so googletagmanager.com learns nothing at all unless you accept. If you do accept, IP anonymisation is on and the identifier expires after thirteen months. Withdraw consent and the page reloads without the tag ever having been activated, and the cookies it set are deleted.

This is a different Analytics property from the one on apilium.com, with no linking between the two domains. Sharing one would require writing an identifier readable at both origins, which is exactly the boundary consent is drawn along.

If your browser already answered

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track are treated as a refusal. If your browser sends either, the refusal is recorded and you are not shown a banner asking a question you have already answered.

What is not here

No advertising network, no retargeting pixel, no session replay, no heatmaps, no fingerprinting. The consent panel offers a marketing category because the library does; nothing is wired to it.

Changing your mind

Open the preferences panel at any time from the link in the footer, or clear this site's data in your browser. Neither requires contacting us.

What we can and cannot prove

Your decision is stored in your browser and nowhere else. This site is a set of static files with no server-side application, so there is no server-side record of your consent — which we would rather say than imply a log exists. What is retained instead is the revision of this notice you consented against, which is stamped alongside your choice.

The company-wide policies

How personal data is handled across Apilium, including anything you send through the customer portal, is described once in the privacy policy on apilium.com.
